Came in at the last minute for what I thought would be just a couple of drinks…. Ended up being the most incredible experience I’ve had during my travels in Japan.
Taki, and His wife are incredibly hospitable and very welcoming! What started off as just a drink or two with two other people, turned into the greatest chat and tasting through some local whiskey, gin, beer, wine and cocktails!
Everything was so incredibly awesome we decided we needed to make a dinner reservation for the following evening and we cannot wait to be back tomorrow!
RUN!! Don’t walk! Please go and have the best time ever!

This is the kind of restaurant you go when you're looking for real Japanese service and food ! They had a live piano and singing in Saturday and still let our toddler in. Enjoyed both English and Japanese songs, great selection. They use local ingredients and food was all tasty. Definitely coming back !

I don’t often do reviews, but I had to on this one! Such a beautiful restaurant with great staff, Taki our waiter was brilliant. He had Japanese history with both the wine and the food, His English was very good also! Highly recommend this place if you’re celebrating a milestone like we were.
One thing to do is get your hotel to book this place as it was quite difficult to book a reservation. Enjoy! We will be back

We had a wonderful dinner at Sarasvati Restaurant & Wine Bar. The food was delicious, especially the beef stew with fresh bread, mushrooms, Caesar salad, and every dish we ordered. The owner was incredibly friendly, gave us thoughtful recommendations, and provided outstanding service throughout the meal. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. As a final surprise, the owner even helped us call a taxi, which made our evening much easier. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Mt. Fuji. Highly recommended!
